Facts! Struck by lightning while on location shooting Passion of the Christ!

Jim Caviezel was struck by lightning while he was on the cross filming The Passion of the Christ!
The film, The Passion of the Christ, was controversial for many reasons. Some people took issue with the intensity of the representation. Some said such a sacred event could not be represented. Perhaps God took issue with it too.
If you think God deals in lightning bolts. It turns out that multiple members of the cast were struck by lightning during the filming.
Jim Caviezel, the actor who played Jesus, was struck while they were filming in a remote location outside of Rome. That same bolt also struck assistant director Jan Michelini. Neither of them were badly hurt.
Michelini, had in fact been struck before while filming in Matera, Italy. He suffered minor burns on his fingers from that strike. Interpret these events as you will. Some believe that surviving a lightning bolt is a sign of God’s blessing.

Obama’s Assassination of Two Americans in Yemen. The Secret Story Behind it. -Jeremy Scahill

The Obama administration’s assassination of two U.S. citizens in 2011, Anwar al-Awlaki and his 16-year-old Denver-born son Abdulrahman, is a central part of Jeremy Scahill’s new book, “Dirty Wars: The World Is a Battlefield.” The book is based on years of reporting on U.S. secret operations in Yemen, Somalia and Afghanistan. While the Obama administration has defended the killing of Anwar, it has never publicly explained why Abdulrahman was targeted in a separate drone strike two weeks later. Scahill reveals CIA Director John Brennan, Obama’s former senior adviser on counterterrorism and homeland security, suspected that the teenager had been killed “intentionally.”

Pastor caught having sex on matrimonial bed!

A 35-year-old Pastor, Segun Fasina, on Monday pleaded with an Orile-Agege Customary Court in Lagos, to dissolve his four-year-old marriage over wife’s alleged wayward life.
But his wife shot back in court saying the pastor was adulterous and that she once caught him having séx with a church member on their matrimonial bed.
Mr. Fasina, of No. 4, Moses St., Alagba, Orile-Agege had told the court that his wife, Abosede, had lost her sense of dignity, and was now smoking and consuming alcohol. The pastor also said that his wife was a gossip and troublesome.
“My wife, Abosede, possesses all the bad habits one can think of. She was accused of stealing a phone in our house.“I believed she actually stole it because of her behaviour. She goes to other co-tenants’ apartments to gossip. And whenever there is any fight in the house, my wife’s name is always mentioned.“As a pastor, I have prayed for her deliverance from the evil acts but my effort was in vain,” he said.
“Since the marriage is childless, we owe ourselves nothing. So, I want the court to dissolve the union.” But, Abosede, 30, a house wife, denied the allegations.“My husband is adulterous. He counsels his church members at home, and I discovered that most of them are ladies.
“He was inside the room counselling a woman when I dashed in.“To my surprise, my husband and the woman were both naked in our bed. My husband beat me and threw me out of the house.“When I reported the case to his father, the man said, I should not disturb his son. I am not a drunk.
.She told the court that despite his adulterous lifestyle, she was still in love with him.The Court President, Joseph Adewusi, told the couple to maintain the peace and adjourned the case till May 10 for judgment.

Kids Caught On Camera Having Sex

(Viewer discretion is Advised )
The essence of this picture (which we have removed) is not to create unnecessary tension but to act as a clear warning to parents to live up to their responsibilities and monitor their children closely..Or how else can one explain this?
This picture sent to my friends at 24S by a concerned Nigerian. This is shameless act perpetrated by these kids who obviously are under ten years..it was decided not to use the picture, that is not showing their faces or the acts. The circumstances and where this act took place is not known yet but was told it happened in Lagos .What lead to this? And where did these kids learn this act?….More questions begging for answers. Am deeply Pained! This is our future Generation!

Grand Excuses For Failure

How can President GoodLuck Jonathan afford to say this?Firefight Death Toll May Be Grossly Exaggerated”
Is that the point? People died! Your People! Nigerians! What has numbers got to do with it? Innocent lives! And if the president is talking numbers we have had avoidable deaths in tens of thousands since he took over!
The same statement all the time! Playing the same blame game, several times over, even  during his interview with Christiane Amanpour of CNN! What is wrong with this guy? What is he up to? If he is not going to move us forward(which he is Obviously not doing) he should just step down! Say “Am sorry my fellow country men and women, I can’t do this!” Honourably! And we are all fine! Nigerians are dying and the solution is setting up another fattened committee?  Take charge Mr President!
And our dear big Uncle, the President’s spokeman, Mr Reuben Abati, I do not think he spends any form of Tete-a-tete with the “Oga at the Top”. Because we Nigerians, believe that, if he does at all, we would have seen some changes! Help us out here man!(Mr Abati) And we believe you know, that a good Name, is better than silver and gold! Even diamond self!
The deaths are needless! And very annoying! Get this country back on track, Mr President! (Hopefully, we know you can)

Battle of the Telecoms Giants

Popular comic actor, Hafiz Oyetoro well known as Saka, has dumped the Dubai telecoms giants, Etisalat. The multiple award-winning actor has now pitched his tent with South Africa’s network provider called MTN.
We heard and have seen!
Seriously, what is MTN Playing at? Is this professional? Can a model(s) used by a direct competing Brand be taken up- (when the contract is over of course),  by a rival? Didn’t Saka sign a contract that he won’t get on board with any other Telecoms after the contract expires with Etisalat? (Ok, am sure they must have sort it out, if not…) The Advertisers Body, NCC,what’s up?
And for what we see, it seems MTN is Spitting Etisalat! Cause they made Saka look so good! Are you pondering what Am pondering? (Lolzzz)
We get Etisalat’s message, that hey, our target market is the everyday Nigerian! Now MTN is saying no way, we are making even better the everyday Nigerian!
A popular saying goes, when two Elephants fight, the grass suffers! This time around, For what it is worth, Saka Keeps Smiling to the Banks!

AMAA 2013 – Incisive Details!

The 9th edition of AMAA took place at her birth place, Yenogua Bayelsa state. The Glory Land Cultural center was full to its capacity. With Politicians, stars (old and new), almost all the guild heads and guests from across the world! It was a colourful event! A fine improvement through the years!
The event took off few minutes to 9pm but dragged on till 4am. Over 7 hours, because of long boring speeches by some gov’t officials. Then again the show suffered a bit of technicalities in terms of audio. (For me, AMAA 2012 in Lagos and AMAA 2008 in Abuja are still the best -Technically) Its good to note that the Governor, His Excellency Henry Dickson, stayed through to the End.
AY (comedian), one of the MCs of the event, gave a good performance! But his Co-MC, a Ghanian actress was boring! Waje, was surprisingly a huge bore on stage. She was just screaming into the mic, and kept all wondering. And yes during the getting back to Lagos situation at the airport, Waje threatened the organisers of AMAA, stating that she must get on the Plane (as others were scrambling) or else… As she got a show to perform at. Sure sister na u ooo!
Ok! Timi Dakolo, (that guy can never go broke! – he is always getting jobs) easily stole the show with his solidarity songs. Flavour, who was the last act for the day, was so cool! Of cause AMAA is not a Nigerian affair, other 3 acts from across the the continent also gave a good show. AMAA 2013, was well attended and the organisers must be commended for the credibility of the Awards.
During the hullabaloo of getting guests back to Lagos, it was a huge pity to behold the greed exhibited by some Nigerian Artistes. The organisers chattered 3 planes for this cause, but it wasn’t enough, (it was enough from Lagos to Port Harcourt) because those who came by road and from Zik Zulu’s mother’s burial insisted on joining the flight. Those who initially paid their way and had return tickets, out of their greed, kept it, and rushed for the chattered flight, thereby depriving others, especially foreign guests and dignitaries from boarding! Dakore was even more unbelievable with her actions, as she demanded that her husband (who came to join her from some business trip and even had a return ticket) gets on the chattered flight! As a result, over 70 people couldn’t fly ! Peace (CEO of AMAA) was flustered! And almost in tears! She must be commended for the way she handled the situation. She was personally sorting out tickets for everyone.
We named Fathia Balogun star of the event because in the commotion and fights for seats, she upgraded her ticket to business class, bought tickets for her PA, a fellow actress, a journalist and for someone who was bereaved! The brutally aggressive light skinned, hairy Edo/Delta Producer/Director, who clamored for people to give up their seats so the South Africans won’t miss their flights from Lagos to SA, surprisingly sat back. Even when his senior colleague, Andy Amenechi, President Directors Guild, and others gave up theirs. Na wa oooo.
Still in the heated atmosphere, Chioma Chukwuka quarrelled hard with a female journalist from Vanguard, for allegedly calling her a lousy Igbo Bitch! Chioma went on, raining insults on the lady, even in the turbulent flight to Lagos.
Baby Owl also gathered that the government of Bayelsa state did not fulfill most of the promises they made to the AMAA organisers.
Peace Ayiam Osigwe has done well with AMAA. Next year, AMAA will be 10, and we heard Peace will be stepping down as CEO. Let’s see how that goes. But I think, it might be too soon. Congrats AMAA!
Congratulations to the Late Justus Esiri. He won best Actor ! For the movie- Assassins Practice. Its a long time coming.
Hey! We heard some of the A-listers, who were not present at AMAA 2013, asked to be paid to attend the event! A word of Advise superstars, don’t price yourselves out of the Market!
